My Life

Hi my name is Fernanda, but all my friends call me Tita or Fernny. I`m 12 years, and I was born on March 22nd 2000, my little sister was born on the 12th of March so she thinks she older but I`m 4 years older than her. I am the second oldest child sometimes I wish I was the only child. I really love my family and I wouldn`t change them at all. I was born at UC Davis at around what time I really don’t know. I have had a pretty good childhood, because I was a daddy`s girl I was the first girl born In 24 years that is why I was spoiled more than my brother and sister. My favorite moment of my life was my 3rd birthday - it was all about the Power Puff Girls, I still like them and my cousin and I bought Power Puff Girls` ice cream.  When I was little I was all into The Power Puff Girls and Dora. I used to have everything Power Puff Girls. My aunt knew what to buy me when ever my birthday came around. I have two siblings. My brother Gerardo and my little sister Yesenia, the one who thinks she older then me. We usually fight with each other, but who doesn`t? We all have gone to Earl Warren. My cousin and I have always hung out with each other all the time, because we are like sisters we really have no one at home to hang out with us. When we hang out I will try to persuade my mom to let me go to sleep at her house. I have a big family and we all, mostly, stay in touch. Most of my family is in the U.S.A and part of my family lives in Mexico. I visit Mexico in December, and I go to the home were my mother grew up and some times I go to my father`s hometown. I love my culture I`m Latina like I said I was raised speaking Spanish. I didn`t learn English until I was in preschool at first it was hard, but after a while I got the hang of it, because when you speak Spanish you speak it backwards kinda. I still speak Spanish and I don’t think that I`m going to forget how to speak it, well lets hope I don`t because that will be a shame for me. I just can’t wait for my promotion, going into 7th grade is a big deal for me, so don’t judge me.  I am going to miss all of my friends. I will never forget them and this school. Its a really cool school and your lucky  if you get Mr. Castro. He  always said to me life might be hard, but you will always find a way out.

 My Hobbies

I love to listen to music, I just can't help to sing when one of my songs goes on. My favorite bands/artists are Green Day, One Direction, Nicki Minaj, J.Cole, Wiz Kalifa, Drizzy Drake, Lil Wayne, Lil Chuck, Joey  Diamond, Tyga, and much more. I have to say I mostly listen to rap and YES I CAN RAP AND I`M A GIRL! I also enjoy dancing to Mexican music, mostly at parties because it`s a little embarrassing I usually dace with my girl cousins not with guys, but some day I will. I watch shows on MTV, ABC (America`s Best Dance Crew) and Sucker Free countdown. My favorite dance crew is Iconic Boyz, my favorite guys are Madison and Nick they are so cute. I also like to play the drums and I like to sing, I got into playing the drums when my brother got a new set of drums and I started to play and I sing very low so no one will hear me. I`m a gamer which means I play video games like Call of Duty (CoD), Mortal Kombat, Mortal Kombat Vs. DC, Black Ops, and etc, the list goes on and on. I play on the PS3 with all my friends on there. I sometimes use it to go on Facebook, another of my addictions. I have many of them like Hello Kitty, but Facebook is the main one. I love CANDY! I will go crazy for a piece and I go crazy after I eat too much candy. I like to hang out with my friends. Our hang out spot is at the park, we play soccer, talk, and buy food from the raspado, snow cones, lady or man. We will take goofy pictures and act goofy too, why because we`re cool like that. I love my fake family and my real family!

    Earl Warren Experience

I have been at Earl Warren for my whole life it`s going to be sad to leave because they are like family to me. My favorite grade was 6th grade because there I made a huge jump in my grades. I went from a far below basic to proficient. I also got to go to Sly Park that was the funniest week ever. I met so many new people at Sly Park; ps. the food was super good. While in Mr. Castro`s class I won an art contest, I beat the whole school. I didn’t think that I could do that, but I did. In Mr. Castro's class, I'm over my shyness with people. Now I`m loud and obnoxious, basically a little monster. I hated to go up in front of the class and tried to stay away from that because I was nervous not scared nervous. Mr. Castro also taught us how to play dogeball and soccer the correct way, Room 14 is so beast at it! I have spent all this time with Ted, Chee, and Erika. They have been in my class since preschool and in my classes ever since, I really miss those days when homework was coloring and cutting and singing my ABC's and counting to 10 . I love Earl Warren I wish I didn’t have to leave.

Teacher's Message

I had the good fortune of having not one, but two members of this family as students. Fernanda's older brother, Gerardo, was in the first class that I ever taught. Fernanda just completed three years in my class. Looking back it is amazing how much she has grown up. I remember seeing her as a toddler when her brother was my student. Fernanda is an intelligent young lady. During our class discussions, I would ask the class very detailed, challenging questions. Fernanda would often be the only one who was able to infer the answer from the clues and the text. She also has a good sense of humor and fun personality and as a result had lots of friends. Finally, Fernanda was pretty intense out on the dodgeball court. She always went out there are gave in 100% - even when I was aiming for her! Unlike most of the other kids in our class, Fernanda is headed to a different middle school. I know she will do well, and I hope she will keep in touch in the future. Keep up the good work kiddo!
